Waking Up OR Catching Up?

Your alarm goes off, it's time to get up, but how do you start your day?

Do you:

A - hit snooze a few times

B - wait until the very last possible minute to get out of bed

C - scroll through email and social media while waking up

D - all of the above

If you chose any of the above I have to ask, do you feel like you spend the rest of the day trying to catch up?

Did you know that how you choose to start your day can really set the tone for how the rest of your day goes?

The best advice I ever read, and I honestly can't remember where, was to wake up and do these 3 things 1st:




Before the baby's up, before you turn on the computer or open your smartphone, before all the noise and busyness of the day take over, take a few minutes for YOU!

Move for a few minutes; walk, do a few stretches, or my go to unload the dishwasher while the coffee's brewing!

Reflect on how yesterday went and how you want today to go! What are your intentions? What are you grateful for?

Grow through personal development; read a few pages of a good book and learn something new!

None of these take long, combined it's less than an hour for me, but it makes all the difference!
